25/11/10 - TRIAL MADE IN ITALY 1975-1985

During the exchange-exhibition of Novegro, near Milano on Saturday the 20th of November there was the official presentation of the new book:
“TRIAL MADE IN ITALY 1975 - 1985”
The volume has been made by Italian Giulio Mauri and Spanish Valentì Fontsere. The former is a 360 degrees trialist, having been journalist, rider, organizers, and now Federation worker. The latter was champion in the trialsin (bicycle trial) and from ever very fond of ancient bikes, as coming from Sant Feliu de Codines, a very famous venue for being in the past the land of many champions.
The idea of this matter came from Valenti Fontsere. He wanted to produce a book on all the Italian twin-shocks built in the magic decade after the 1975. To do this, he called Giulio Mauri and together started this project. Finally they made a book not only on the wonderful Italian bikes, but also containing interesting anecdotes and photos coming from one of the most secret archive.
In this volume, consisting of more than 300 pages with 700 colour photos, where the reader and the amateur will be able to appreciate such many curiosities, unusual stories, tales of the great champions belonging to that era, there is everything all of us would have known and nowadays it has become available to everybody.
The book will be sold from the 15th of December at the price of € 39,00. It is available written in Italian or Spanish languages, at the beginning. An English version is also planned for the future.

In occasione della mostra mercato di Novegro a Milano, sabato 20 novembre alle 12.30, ha avuto luogo la presentazione ufficiale del nuovo libro:
“TRIAL MADE IN ITALY 1975 - 1985”
una pubblicazione realizzata da Giulio Mauri e dallo spagnolo Valentì Fontsere. Valentì Fontserè, campione di bici trial, appassionato di trial d’epoca e discendente della stirpe di grandi appassionati di moto che ha avuto i suoi natali a Sant Feliu de Codines, terra natale del trial spagnolo, un mattino pedalando per la Sierra, decise che voleva fare un libro sulle moto da trial italiane, quelle epiche, quelle con due ammortizzatori, quelle costruite nel magico decennio seguente al 1975.
Per realizzare questa opera, Fontsere ha coinvolto l’italiano Giulio Mauri, trialista a 360° in quanto giornalista, pilota, organizzatore, ecc.. Ne è scaturita una simbiosi totale, che ha prodotto un libro realizzato a quattro mani; un libro che riporta informazioni storiche su tutte le bellissime moto italiane di quel periodo, ma anche aneddoti inediti e foto scaturite da uno degli archivi più segreti.
In questa pubblicazione, di oltre 300 pagine con 700 foto a colori, della quale il lettore e l’appassionato scorreranno le pagine con crescente curiosità, apprezzando informazioni, storie inconsuete, racconti dei grandi campioni di quel periodo, c’è tutto quello che ciascuno di voi avrebbe voluto sapere e che oggi finalmente diventa patrimonio di tutti.
Il libro verrà messo in vendita a partire dal 15 dicembre prossimo al costo di €. 39,00 tramite le librerie specializzate e i canali on line.
