28/08/11 - UEM Championship: Tanvald, CZE

The third and last round of the Women and Youth Championship followed our expectations. Spanish pluri-champion Laia Sanz(Montesa) won again and clinched her tenth European title. Second place for Emma Bristow (Ossa), who beat country mate Rebekah Cook (Sherco).
Between the Youths crown to French Steven Coquelin (Gas Gas), only third in this last round, beaten by Norwegian Sverre Lundevold (Beta) and Italian Gabriele Giarba(Beta), both followed him in the final championship standings.
In the International classes, Italian Elisa Peretti (Gas Gas) topped the Women and Spanish Arnau Farre’(Gas Gas) the Youth.

Come da pronostico l'assegnazione dei titoli Youth e Women. Per Laia Sanz si tratta del decimo titolo europeo. Nella Youth Coquelin e' campione, ma oggi e' stato battuto dal norvegese Lundevold e dal nostro valtellinese Gabriele Giarba, che chiude cosi' al terzo posto in campionato.
Grande successo poi fra le donne della categoria Internazionali, per Elisa Peretti.
