29/08/18 - Grattarola Indoor champion after beating Tournour for a while in Varazze -

Matteo Grattarola (Sembenini Montesa) won the fifth and last round of the Italian Indoor & Urban Championship and clinched the title. Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas) was beaten for the time. Both were tied in points, in number of "0", number of dabs and so on. Being this last round Urban style with 6 sections to repeat twice in the main squares of Varazze, as a standard competition, the time used was discriminating and Grattarola was the fastest.In third Luca Petrella (TRS) with just one point more.

It was a great success because a lot of spectators assisted. The whole event was dedicated to Giorgio Donaggio, the Trial rider whose life was claimed in the recent collapsed bridge in Genova. Last year he was the main organizer of this event.

Grattarola campione dopo aver battuto ancora di un soffio Tournour a Varazze

Matteo Grattarola (Sembenini Montesa) ha vinto la quinta ed ultima prova del CITI e si è portato a casa il titolo. Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas) è stato battuto per il tempo. Entrambi a pari punti, con lo stesso numero di "0", di "1" w xos' via. Essendo questa prova un Urban Trial con 6 zone sa ripetere due volte nelle ppiazze principali di Varazze, come una gara standard , il tempo speso ha fatto da discriminante e Grattarola è stato il più veloce.Terzo Luca Petrella (TRS) con solo un punto in più.

E' stato un grande successo dal punto di vista organizzativo, visto il numeroso pubblico. L'intero evento è stato dedicato a Giorgio Donaggio, il pilota che ha perso la vita nel recente ponte caduto a Genova. L'anno scorso fu il tracciatore delle zone di questa gara.
