21/07/18 - KING TONI MORE AND MORE CLOSE TO HIS 12TH TITLE, GUBIAN E-CHAMPION

Toni Bou - Repsol Honda did not stop his march towards a twelfth-straight outdoor World title and gathered an other win in Belgium at Comblain au pont. This time Bou had a close-fight with old rival Adam Raga - TRS.

Loris Gubian (Gas Gas) had his revenge beating Kenichi Kurtoyama (Yamaha) in the world of E-machines. Both have one win and one second place each but in this case the rules are in favour of the last event. So Gubian is world champion

Italian Matteo Grattarola (Sembenini Montesa) threw away in the second lap his consistent lead at the turning point : his score was 4 marks. Then he collected 3 fives ending up to 15. Toby Martyn - Montesa who chased him, scoring 12 penalties recovered very well in the second part and scored just 6 marks. Enough to overtake Grattarola by one single mark and also to take the leadership in the overall standings.
