08/10/20 - Sempre vivo il Trial d'Epoca italiano ... -

Concluso a Monte San Giovanni in Sabina, Rieti, il più breve Campionato Italiano Trial d'Epoca. Tre sole prove: la prima nella struttura Trial Pro Park di Ceranesi, Genova, quindi due gare nello scorso week-end nell'Italia centrale.

Un bel gruppo di trialisti vecchio stampo che di esperienza ne hanno da vendere e che corrono per il puro divertimento. Un mettersi in gioco su un mezzo datato - lontano anni luce da quelli in commercio oggi – un mezzo che richiede una guida del tutto differente ma soprattutto un amore esagerato di chi lo cavalca, perchè di fronte a gare dure, mostra tutti i suoi limiti.

Il Trial d'Epoca in Italia è ancora nel limbo. Difficile analizzare i numeri di un anno gravemente condizionato dal covid, ma qualche volto nuovo si è visto in questi due appuntamenti. Probabilmente sarebbe necessario unificare le categorie a livello europeo, prendendo esempio da Paesi come Francia, Spagna e Gran Bretagna in cui da anni questa branca del Trial spopola.

Un successo che ha come base un modo di tracciare fortemente improntato sul livello più basso. Il concetto è che chi ha speso quattrini per restaurare una moto di 30-40 anni fa, ha piacere, comprensibilmente, di divertirsi senza distruggere il suo lavoro.

Prossimamente un'inchiesta tra i fruitori di questo campionato per cogliere idee e suggerimenti utili per migliorarlo.

Still alive Italian Vintage Trial ...

Quinta edizione del The shortest Italian Trial d'Epoca Championship ended in Monte San Giovanni in Sabina, Rieti. Only three rounds: the first one in the Trial Pro Park structure in Ceranesi, Genoa, then two races last weekend in central Italy.

A nice group of old-fashioned trialists who have a lot of experience and who run just for fun. Getting involved on an outdated vehicle - far away from those on the market today - a bike that requires a completely different guide but above all an exaggerated love of those who ride it, because in front of tough races, it shows all its limits.

The Trial d'Epoca in Italy is still in limbo. It is difficult to analyze the numbers of a year seriously affected by the covid, but some new faces have been seen in these two events. It would probably be necessary to unify the categories at a European level, taking an example from countries such as France, Spain and Great Britain in which this branch of the Trial has been succesfull for years.

A success based on a way of drawing the sections, strongly based on the lowest level. The concept is that those who have spent money to restore a 30-40 years old motorcycle , understandably enjoy having fun without destroying their work.

Soon a survey among the users of this championship to gather useful ideas and suggestions to improve it.
