07/06/25 - BOU,GELABERT AND KUROYAMA TOPPED DAY1 IN SAN MARINO

Toni Bou (Montesa) continued his unstoppable run also in the first of the two days of San Marino - fifth appointment of the 2025 FIM Hertz Trial World Championship - disputed using the structure of the Baldasserona motocross track in Borgo Maggiore, already the scene of events of this importance in the past. Successes for Miquel Gelabert (Honda) in Trial2 and Jin Kuroyama (Sherco) in Trial3

. Sunny and particularly hot day with very tough sections in the Trialgp, especially if you consider that the time limit has dropped to 60 seconds compared to 90 last year. Some like number 6 not passed by anyone: a real shame because a final wall would have been a great show for the public, but all the riders used up their 60 seconds much earlier...

. The usual Bou, even if loaded with four failures, was the best with 26 points. Paired with his teammate Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) but with two more cleans. For Jaime Busto (Gas Gas) the points were 34, just one less than Jack Peace (Sherco). Fifth Aniol Gelabert (TRRS) ahead of Matteo Grattarola (Beta) author of eight failures, out of 42 points.

Second round (and race) with halved scores also because section 5 was cancelled to allow rescue operations for the Spanish Trial2 rider Arnau Escarra Homs who fell and broke his elbow.

Bou had the toughest opponent this time in Busto and beat him by just one clean, because both finished with 13 penalties. Marcelli was third with 6 more points, two less than a much more brilliant Grattarola.

The revenge of the not particularly lucky day, Busto took it in the Power Section where he beat Bou in speed (but what does that have to do with Trial?).

Two clear victories for Miquel Gelabert with the electric RTL in Trial2, who is dangerously close to the leader Harry Hemingway (Beta) who obtained two second places. Third in the results of the day was his brother George Hemingway (Beta).

The Italians did well, both in the top 10 of a category that counts 41 participants. In ninth place Carloalberto Rabino (Beta) ahead of Francesco Titli (TRRS).

First success for Fabio Mazzola (TRRS) in the first race of Trial3, who despite a meager sixth place in race2, manages to climb to the third step of the podium of the day.

The race towards the title slows down the fifteen-year-old American Ryon Land (Sherco), beaten by Kenichi's nephew. Jin Kuroyama, who takes the lead thanks to two second places. The American wins the second round but finishes only fifth in the first. The Piedmontese Alessandro Amè (Beta) seventh of the day close to the leaders.

Tomorrow is the second day of racing in the same place.

BOU, GELABERT E KUROYAMA SVETTANO NEL PRIMO GIORNO DI SAN MARINO

Toni Bou (Montesa) continua la sua corsa inarrestabile anche nel primo dei due giorni di San Marino – quinto appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Trial FIM Hertz 2025 – disputato sfruttando la struttura del crossdromo di Baldasserona a Borgo Maggiore, già teatro in passato degli eventi di questa importanza. Successi per Miquel Gelabert (Honda) in Trial2 e Jin Kuroyama (Sherco) in Trial3

. Giornata soleggiata e particolarmente calda con zone durissime nella Trialgp, sopratutto se si considera che il tempo limite è sceso a 60 secondi rispetto ai 90 dell'anno passato. Alcune come la numero 6 non superate da nessuno: un vero peccato perchè un muro finale sarebbe stato un grande spettacolo per il pubblico, ma tutti i piloti consumavano i loro 60 secondi molto prima...

. Il solito Bou anche se carico di ben quattro fiaschi è stato il migliore con 26 punti. Appaiato al compagno d squadra Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) ma forte di due zeri in più. Per Jaime Busto (Gas Gas) i punti sono 34, appena uno in meno di Jack Peace (Sherco). Quinto Aniol Gelabert (TRRS) davanti a Matteo Grattarola (Beta) autore di ben otto fiaschi, su 42 punti.

Seconda tornata ( e gara) con punteggi dimezzati anche perchè la zona 5 è stata annullata per permettere i soccorsi al pilota spagnolo della Trial2 Arnau Escarra Homs che cadendo si è procurato la frattura di un gomito.

Bou ha avuto stavolta in Busto l'avversario più ostico e lo ha battuto per un solo zero, perchè entrambi hanno chiuso con 13 penalità. Terzo Marcelli con 6 punti in più, due in meno di un Grattarola molto più brillante.

La rivincita della giornata non particolarmente fortunata, Busto se l'è presa nella Power Section dove ha battuto Bou nella velocità ( ma cosa centra col Trial?) .

Due vittorie nette di Miquel Gelabert con la RTL elettrica in Trial2, che si avvicina pericolosamente al leader Harry Hemingway (Beta) che ha ottenuto due secondi posti. Terzo come risultati di giornata il fratello George Hemingway (Beta).

Bene gli italiani entrambi nei primi 10 di una categoria che conta ben 41 partecipanti. Al nono posto Carloalberto Rabino (Beta) davanti a Francesco Titli (TRRS).

Primo successo per Fabio Mazzola (TRRS) nella prima gara di Trial3, che nonostante un magro sesto posto in gara2, riesce a salire sul terzo scalino del podio di giornata.

Rallenta la corsa verso il titolo il quindicenne statunitense Ryon Land (Sherco) , battuto dal nipote di Kenichi. Jin Kuroyama, che coglie il primato grazia a due secondi posti. L'americano vince la seconda tornata ma finisce solo quinto nella prima. Il piemontese Alessandro Amè (Beta) settimo di giornata a ridosso dei primi.

Domani il secondo giorno di gare nel medesimo luogo.
